Who We Are
Diamond Minds
Diamond Minds was established in 2012 as a Community Based Organization. Diamond Minds specializes in creating unique events and programs in underserved communities that stimulate growth and education. As a result, the San Diego Hip Hop Health & Wellness 5K/ Festival launched in 2015 to encourage southeastern San Diego residents of all generations to commit to fitness, health and resource awareness.
FMG
Futuristic Music Group is a Hip Hop record label based out of San Diego California. FMG is best known for their marquee artists Mike N Keys, who have produced music for artists ranging from 50 Cent, Buddy, G-Eazy and Nipsey Hussle to name a few. Futuristic Music Group is dedicated to bringing quality music to the forefront of Hip Hop culture while reaching back to the community in efforts to raise awareness in regards to health, fitness and total wellness.

The Goal
The overall goal of the Hip Hop 5k is to create a surge of positive energy and forward thinking in the San Diego residents.
We encourage the youngest to the oldest to participate. This is a direct call from the voices of Hip-Hop culture. The time is now for us to help lead the way into a better way of living as a lifestyle. We contest that we all can combat the numerous preventable illnesses that plague many Americans today: diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, obesity, heart disease, etc.
